DiskUsage Review
DiskUsage is a small application that gives you a graphic and intuitive view of the memory being used on your Android device. It's an excellent tool for keeping track of which files and folders are taking up the most memory, and which can be eliminated to free up space.
Best of all, it's free and easy to install on your device! You can download it directly from the developer's website.
It's also available on F-Droid, a directory of free and open source applications for the Android platform. This app is a keeper and you'll be happy to have it on your phone or tablet!
A quick look at the disk usage of a specific folder or the entire drive using a command line interface with a lot of options.
The /h option shows the size values using a human-readable format, rounded to gigabytes, megabytes and so on.
Another nice feature is that it can be configured to show the total size of a directory and its subdirectories by default. You can choose the units to be displayed in and even apply file name filters.
Besides showing the facts, this app has a few other useful features that will help you keep tabs on what's going on with your device's storage space. You can view the size of a file in the Windows Explorer window or on the right-hand side of a screen, while its status is shown in the notification area at the bottom.
